My Fore Fathers
I'm a disgrace to all men
The ones whom prevailed in the past
Life long warriors, the ones
that have passed
Not even a glint in the eyes
of that which was
I hold all of the past heroes high above
Working their fingers to the bone
All the way to the very end
In the end all of them knew they would win
My definition of heroes doesn't come
around that often
We as people don't give them the
credit that is due
For the ones that died for us
All of those that have passed, I hope
that my life isn't through
For all of those that last
The ones whom prevailed in the past
Life long warriors, the ones
that have passed
Not even a glint in the eyes
of that which was
I hold all of the past heroes high above
Working their fingers to the bone
All the way to the very end
In the end all of them knew they would win
My definition of heroes doesn't come
around that often
We as people don't give them the
credit that is due
For the ones that died for us
All of those that have passed, I hope
that my life isn't through
For all of those that last
