never a home
today i woke up
i knew in my gut
it was like no other day
the sherriff has arrived
the paper
pink in color
notice of eviction
no time to pack
no time for memories
no toys
no picture albums
no furniture
no second chances
A boy of 12
my favorite t-shirt
a pair of jeans
my knife
my wallet
the sum of my life
left behind
curbed by cops
thrown away by law
town car loaded
father and son
packed to roam
first stop vacant lot
sleep sitting
neck hurting
tap on glass
awakens dream
cops at window
you cant stay here
Red face
deep embarassment
dad turns key
one mile turns to ten
from ten to hundred
night comes
parking lot is home again
Another night
broken hearted
broken dreams
broken life
Sun rises
light profound
words unspoken
destination unknown
breakfast in bed
driving towards
destination unknown
hot sun
sweat builds
desperation
despair
anger
scarred
all multiply
Home again
parking lot unknown
town unknown
a man and his son
alone
together
but alone
and never home
