    the river

    Like a salmon swimming upstream.
I too feel the walls closing on me, as the sands of time fall.
    Given the gifts.
    The talents.
The choices of what to do.
Where is this stream , this river in which i must swim onward.
Why must i float around waiting for direction.
    Where is my guide.
    My partner.
Signs are around us all day.
    As well are the choices
The river never seams to slow.It is always fast and furious.
You dont know if you will drown .
You dont know if you will swim
Jump in and you will find out.
Then and only then will you find out.
    Stay in your little pond.
And you will live a safe and long life, without risks or chances
To have experienced life you must first live.
    jump in.

good point, we should all take chance and experience life to it`s fullest.

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.

Plato (BC 427-BC 347) Greek philosopher.
