    Poem Commentary

Never ridden a Harley but a friend is finally going to give me a ride  and he so loves his bike, more I think than a female.

    Ode to Fat Boy

    I reached slowly forward
    to feel the gentle caress
    of the throbbing heart
    of my Love.

    I dared not breathe
    lest i disrupted
    its beating
    and my Love fell silent.

Age has not diminished nor changed my Love.
It has brought us closer as
    we lived and loved
through endless day and warm sultry nights.

    I slowly reached out again
knowing it rhythmic beating must cease.
My own heart skipped a beat as
I turned the key and silenced my Love.

    Till tomorrow Fat Boy

the dirt bike fat boy? i see the emotion but its so vague (which is a good thing) i cant imagine a thing or a person for the main charater of this poem. it diffently has my mind on the wander around mode

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
