One day...
One day I'll prove you wrong,
Prove that I AM strong,
One day you'll turn on the tv,
And there I'll be,
Shining among the stars,
Proving I can go far,
And when you try to crawl back,
Just crawl back into the shadows so black,
When I shine,
I'll shine bright,
Finding my way in the night,
And into the arms of my lover and just in time,
For a goodnight kiss,
True lover's bliss,
You tried to call,
But you let me fall,
Long ago I told you,
That I'd show you,
Prove you wrong,
Well I did and I'm still standing strong,
By my love's side,
Hand in hand,
We walk together, not me in behind,
I'm so glad I made a stand,
I threw away the pain,
Picked up my heart,
Washed my worries down the drain,
And began with a new start.
