    Poem Commentary

    We all have our own life's pain and struggle that we come to handle so well.
    This was a good lesson well learned for me, that I can help but should never give up my peace from within.  I thank God that I'm not one to make the same mistake over and over again.

    Other People's Hell.......
    Reaching out to help another, I
    soon got caught up in his struggle.

    His pain soon became my pain a
    pain I have never known.
    He often said from time to time
    I'm in hell a hell that he has come
    to handle so well.

    I gave up my peace so he could
    come to know it so well, now here
    I stand in his living hell not doing
    so well.
    The wounds are healing with
    each passing day, now when I see him
    I no longer feel the same way.

    We all have our own life pain, struggles
    and hell that we have come to handle
    so well.
    My life lession learned is to never
    give up my peace that comes from within
    and stay away from other people's hell
    for fear that I might not do so well.

    This is something that so many kind people do not expect, or know about for the most part. The best we can do is pray for them. You are a wise woman.

    I totally agree and u would need to have great love for this person in order to be able to hang in there. The tricky part is how to help without becoming sick yourself.

    In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
