    Poem Commentary

    If I can't speak I think writing should be my way of expressing my feelings.The fact is that I feel relieved anytime I write a poem,to show that those words are heavy to be left in my head.

    Writing is my way
    Of fighting back
    I may be physically powerless
    Not mentally otherwise
    I allow my hand
    To work for me
    Pulling my weapon along
    To express my bottomless mind
    Since mute is not my coz'
    I need this rope
    To draw out
    All the obedient follows
    That fell into this dark water
    I have come to rescue you
    Trust my feminine strength
    Hold on to my hand
    And make not your look shallow
    But force your lens to part
    For peace to reign.

    Writing can be so therapuetic and heal wounds. I write to be heard, but I also write to get what's inside out on the page so I can heal from life's wounds inflicted on me by myself and others who do not always have my interests at hand. In a way it is also my way of fighting back. Very nice poem.
