PERFECT DREAM
It has been another day
Seems like life has its own way
I’m done doing my day’s work
Time to leave my place of work
And so I started to walk
Starts singing, no more talk
And I take a ride in a bus
In Alabang I came to pass
And here I am now sitting
In a jeepney and waiting
Then you appeared from nowhere
Makes me feel that I’m somewhere
I asked myself, “Am I dreaming?”
I can’t help myself staring
In an angel in front of me
Hoping that you’ll not notice me
You really are a perfect dream
And this heart of mine wants to scream
And if this is a dream indeed
Then waking-up is of no need
Your perfect eyes I’ve never seen
With perfect nose and perfect skin
And your lips I won’t forget
Kissing you I won’t regret
Your perfect smile makes me breathless
Your dimples’ my greatest weakness
With perfect hair, perfect body
With you I’ll be anybody
What’s your wearing is color blue
It fits you well, won’t make me blue
Everything’s already in you
Hoping I’ll be enough for you
Watching you sleep gives me joy
Each part of your face, I enjoy
Your face is so innocent
In paradise, I feel I’m sent
Looking at you is not tiring
It is actually life-giving
Your every movement dazzles me
Everything ‘bout you amazes me
If only I can see you often
It will for sure make my heart soften
I ask now “Will I see you again?”
But I know it will not be certain
Now it’s time for me to go
I glanced at you before I go
Though I don’t want this dream to stop
My heartbeat for you will not stop
My perfect dream, I thank you
It’s been a while to find you
The love within me was revived
I am once again made alive
Hope to see you someday, somewhere
Because without you I am nowhere
Or maybe you can visit me
In one of my dreams, there you’ll be
