    Perfect

So I wasn't made to be perfect,
But this perfection was in mind.
In hopes that our own desires to be,
    Perfected overtime.
In this world so perfect and this perfection
    You perceive,
Just how you may lead your perfected life,
Is not so perfect for me.
And blinded by delusions of perfection
    Is your gift,
But if you were so damn perfect you'd know
    Perfection does not exist!
So in making wrong decisions I can perfect
    The steps to take,
And see revealed are lessons learned
    Through my life's perfecting
    mistake... me

I like this, especially the first line; it gives a good start to the whole peice, well done.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
