    The Reasoning

You voiced to me those, "never again," do's,
And fractured the faith of speaking the truth.
You pledged to me that your devotion was true,
But your hatred enforces the insidious abuse.
When the sorrow of pain declines down my cheek,
Discretion of hate creates virtue to seek.
Suppress your dislikes and your misery,
Removed from this promise you confessed to me.
These uncertainties you cast has torn my hearts end,
As the portions of faith lie damaged again.
So directly I reach, my intentions are clear,
As light sedates the panic and descends the silent fear.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
