  • I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I am not

Please

Star gazing
No more tears to fill my eyes
Tear ducts empty
Body scarred
Heart is heavy
Insides twisting, churning,
Stomach sick, nauseous, burning
Fought so hard before....

Please find me here, speak to me
I need to feel you, hear you
Please...
I'm on my knees again
Will you still take me in?
A silver lining isn't enough to make this alright

Hands are shaking
Aimed right at my heart
Head is spinning
Eyes are closed
Can you save me from this place?
Tears of ice stream down my face
Lost in this tunnel of darkness
Cannot seem to find the light, to find my way out...

I think i've had enough, i'm slipping off the edge
Please won't you catch me?
I want to move on
Although I hurt I must be strong

Please....

very powerful write!! Always remember with every door that shuts, it allows another to be opened. It's cliche, but everything happens for a reason, sometimes we just can't see through the pain. Excellent job!!

:( I felt so sad for you reading this poem. I know the pain of a broken heart, it is not one you soon forget. But for every end there must be a new beginning. One day you will freefall from the cliff, with confidence and a smile, knowing that when you hit the base, your true will be there to break your fall and rescue you from the darkness. -Spence

I've felt many of the same things as well. It feels good to get it all down in words and to find just the right words. Well done.

pain is a part of life - unfortantly --------------------------------

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
