World Pollution
As this world is slowly dying,
Oh so few are really crying.
As we shout we all must beware,
Oh so few even bother to care.
Old and grey and can hardly see,
Must my children die before me?
Ozone gone, so the sun does glare,
Sunburn causes a cancer scare.
Gone the days of carefree fun,
Now we hide away from the sun.
Heat and storms rule the day,
For our errors now we pay.
Can we change what we have done?
What is the cost of replacing the sun?
Global warming is what we gain,
How much longer before no rain?
Soon the lands will dry and scorch,
All we have is put to the torch.
Oh what price to change it all?
Before this fate it does befall.
