    Purple Moon

Purple Moon unveils her protective light

When the seed of my soul grows dim

Grey Sky gently lifts away gripping hands

When my heart yearns for earthy night

White wind breezes through my shivering bones

And I hear her whispering words

Silvery rain seeps through my dying skin

To remind me I'm not alone

I romance the darkness and dance in tone

    Ignoring signs of early morn

For when red sun bleeds through my shaded world

    I'll transform into self-unknown

Dawn, such depth in a poem can only be felt by those who have walked in your shoes before ;) Wow! I love the passion, in which you convey your hidden emotions throughout the entire piece! "ignoring signs of early morn" MASTERFUL! Great job!

This voice speaks softly but, with an intense yearning to feel the senses that let it into it's place of solitude and serenity where it feels familiar, comfortable to be... It's real home is the night, and leaves it only with great angst, that it become a shadow in the lightness awaiting the cycle of time until it can go home again... A good write...

EAT SMOKE ALCOHOL DRUGS: I CHOOSE TO WRITE by Sophialaurenea Y. Destine RED ROSE My mother is like a flower. She smells like red rose powder. My mother surrounds me like a warm breeze that never freezes. She is always there because my mother says to me, "You're my baby, dear." My mother gives and that's how she lives. I look up to my mother like no other. My mother sings like an angel choir. You can be sure God hears her sing and never gets tired. She's beautiful inside and out; and there is no dout. Although she is four feet eleven, she beats everyone to Heaven. My mother's eyes are dark brown. She made all people comfortable in town. Her heart was full of sorrow because too many people borrow. My mother' soul was so bright. It made everyone see Abba's light. "Mommy I love you," I'm thinking to myself; she's my morning dew. My mother smells like powder because she is a red rose flower. Love your daughter, Sophialaurenea Y. Destine Both of my moms; informed me that the pen is mighty-er than the sword. I made up my mind. I will not be violent concerning this horrible situation at MSC South women shelter. Instead, I will be focus, organize, and determine. I decided to inform people of Mrs. Catherine Alvarez' secrets too. I will not color or lie about what she told me. No! I will tell the truth. Before I do tell her business. I will say; she told the girl that my age is close to 18 or that I am 18. One of the girls name Simone apologized to me for all the mockery she was in volve with. Simone stated " Cathy and Sherry convenice her to take my teddy bear off my bed and hide it." Can you believe women in their forties playing such immature games? I believe I have every right to vent my concerns on Mrs. Alvarez since she slander my name and reputation. I decide to write poems and put them in my books on what is occurring at MSC South women shelter. I will tell you too, I got along with all the staff until the poison from Ms. Alvarez started.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
