"Tears of Sorrow"

I have wept many tears of unfulfilled sorrow,
Hoping still that my deliverance will be on the morrow....

I have laid upon mine face and called to thee with all my might,
And it was there that I watched as my soul set into flight.....

Perhaps I have not knelt in reverence as I know I should,
Since my Redeemer hung for me on that piece of wood.....

Please do not leave or forsake me in my gray headed time of need,
For I know that it is this for which my Savior was sent to bleed.....

I cried out to my Savior with this tear stained face,
As my body swayed to and fro reveling in the dance of all His grace.....

For it is through His love, His blood, and His tears,
That I may know through Him, freedom without tears or fears.....

There are so many spiritual poems written, each holding such a special meaning to the author, as well as leaving a special impression to the reader. I can say with an open heart, and the most sincere intention, that this poem you have shared has brought more than a shared spiritual message to me~Your words here are nothing less then an eloquent prayer, that shines purest light, and truest faith! If your notion was to enlighten your reader, you have far exceeded your goal! You are beautiful, Judy!-Madelynn

Another beautiful poem especially this time of year when so many have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas. We are never out of the Lords thoughts, he picks the timeand place to reveal himself. so it is wise to beleive in him and trust that when the momment comes that he will not forske you. Well done dear.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
