    Reaching for a shadow 10-9-07

     Im reaching for your shadow
    as you turn and walk away
    trying to keep even the smallest wisp of you
    here with me
    Like the moon and stars
    that rule the night
    as you rule my dreams
    the sun will set for you
    and even your shadow will be gone
    What is left then
    only me 
    only me.

    Great poem I like it! It's sad losing someone you love but, we always get over it!!!!

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
