Starless

Starless

Falling far from heaven she

has been through hell and flown away.

Her wings are made of wax and

she just got close to the sun.

She hits the bottom and walks on stones.

Her feet are tired scared.

In this effort to reach divinity

she shares her bread and wine.

She cries all the time inside

she shows no sign of pain.

Her shadows cast from a street lamp

as she stairs straight into the sun.

Her head is down she's on her knees

begging to be freed.

All these false emotions

come out all the same.

Her withered hands,

her tired eyes

fall off at the seems.

She sorts out all her feelings.

She runs out in the rain.

Starless nights of grieving,

she ends all this pain

wow! awesome write... really deep emotions etched into this... write on!

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
