    Take the pain away

     

    You are my everything,
    The only light inside my dark,
    The only thing that makes my life spark,
    Im so happy your here, real, breathing,

    I hate it when you feel this pain,
    This pain I feel everyday,
    I know the agony of its bite,
    Its so stong,
    Almost impossible to fight,

    I want to chase it away,
    You can run and ill be the bate,
    Ill be okay, dont worry about me,
    This pain is no stranger,
    We are old friends,
    I know how to bare its fists,

    Ill take the beating for you,
    Inhabit the scars from battle,
    You can kiss them away,
    When your happy my wounds stop bleeding,
    Every hit is worth taking,
    For you,

    I know these beatings are withering you away,
    When you wither, I do too,
    I promice you the pain will stay,
    But me and you can see it through,

    Ill do all this to see you smile,
    Try my best hoping it will last a while,
    Because when your unhappy my everything fades to black,
    Theres no light to brighten the dark inside my mind,
    No flame to spark my life,

    So you kiss away my pain,
    Ill kiss away yours,
    And together we can bare the thorns,
    Ill take the stabs,
    Then youll heal me with you gentle hands.

    Such gentle word of encouragement for a relationship. I encourage you to stick to a true love when you find it they do not come often and for you to hold on to your great writing style I like the rhyme in this piece.
