the dark dream(the figure)
walking alone through empty halls,
a black figure stalks the black.
slinking along the shadowed walls,
while evil eyes peer through the cracks.
moon light hides behind clouds,
the whistling breeze brings a chill,
moving ever so slowly from behind its shroud,
out to do its horrible will.
the figure stops at a chamber door,
waves its skeleton hands,
the door opens with a sound of squeaking boards,
and enters the bedroom of a man.
the man,unknowing, gently sleeps,
not knowing whats near his bed.
the dark figure,closer it creeps,
so it can spread its dread.
it touches his icy finger to his head,
and in a deep voice mumbles,
then starts a shaking or the bed,
and the walls rumble.
all grows silent and nothing is heard,
the mans soul is now set free,
the figrre lifts its vail with out a word,
my god, the figure is me
