    The Yearning

Oh to feel the feverous burn
    From days belonging to younger
To release from heavy encumbering chains
    The ravenous youthful hunger
    ...
To return to days before passion waned
When the blood rush heightened the senses
And the reckless charge of a rogue wild stallion
Ne'er could be stalled by high closed in fences

Strength as full as a high blowing zephyr
The will to defeat the most powerful foe
The longing to be the great dream that awakens
And pierces full to the depths of the soul

Oh to release the aches of th ages
And break free of the bondage of time
To grasp the gold glories known to youth
And unravel the wanderings in my mind

Very nice. I can relate to this. The good ald days so to speak.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
