    There Is

    there is no truth
    that hurts more
    than the truth
    that is inside of me
    there is no pain
    that is more painful
    than the armor of myself
    tightly squeezing me

True, nobody but God and ourselves can know our innermost secrets and the depth of our pain. Lot said in brevity.

really impressed with how much you say in so few words - don't we all feel that squeeze? I don't think that's how we're supposed to live. excellent writing new friend :)

Thank you for the kind words..That was actually hard to write, short as it is. I have trouble truly expressing how i feel, personally....Digging for the truth inside one's self is tough..Easier for me to write more as an observor. Thank you again. T64

thanks for asking...always nice to meet a new poet friend :)

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
