Thorns Included
What's bothering you now
my little chameleon
having trouble choosing a face
that conceals who you are?
The roller coaster of life
has many ups and downs
but in the end
it is still a roller coaster.
Will the rose lose it's beauty
or be less sweet
because it carries a thorn?
I think not.
Put away the faces
and show me your heart
therein lies my rose
thorns included.
