Tranquility
They wrap around my toes;
Glued like little beads,
Warm yet cool;
A comfort to my feet.
Oh how I enjoy it as they squish between my toes;
Leaving little prints where I ever go.
Beautiful colors of whites, blues, grays and greens;
As far as my little eyes can see.
It rushes in like an old long lost friend;
Covers me with wet kisses from beginning to end
Oh how I love all its sweet salty smell;
The tranquility it brings me I know it so well.
Lost in its magnificence and all of its serenity;
Yes that’s where you’ll find me.
