Unity of Church and State 2

"Men of faith" are seeking to establish heaven here on earth,
Politically strengthening Caesar's position first
God's an heavenly kingdom not of worldly gain,
Should preachers of the word of God behave with such disdain?

The gathering of believers at election time,
Telling them to vote this way or that is just not fine,
Now they have sought to have religious legislation,
Though in a nation of varied congregations,
cooperating  with political leaders for religious relations is a tool
To get believers to fall in line is certainly not cool.


Unity of church and state that I must refuse,
Forced and state organized religion is of no excuse
A dangerous path to take a precedent I cannot relate,
The intended marriage of the church and state,

In practising one's religion and one's belief,
One just can't accept it, when there is no relief,
When your faith's in conflict with religions of the state,
Just like Martin Luther, you'll be up for debate,
For the the man of Perdition's stage has been set,
He has been awaiting and now his needs are set.

The scene is set to deceive the world and to take control,
Those who pledge allegiance, the rich, young poor or old.
