Real ROLE MODELS?

Tons ans tons of role models are spun
on tv and motion pictures,
They are established and social fixtures,
Earning millions, well dressed, manicured,
groomed and lovely pictures
But they are called role models to us,
Role models what? Role models for us?
Whats the fuss?

The role models though are full of social concerns,
Looking at their lives closely and you will learn,
That a true role models is not based on what you earn
Looking at your living example will make your stomach turn.

Look at your role models becoming junkies,
Alchohol addicts and crack head punkies,
Look at them often caught with drugs,
Often in jail, sharing cells with thugs!
Drunken in a corner asleep with hair full a bugs,
Living so nasty and disgusting to see,
In many cities and principalities!
Yet you say this your children's role model?
Are you crazy? Get a hold of the saddle!

Let not your emotions run away with a superstar!
Because he's on the big screen and drive expensive cars,
Let them not be role models to your child,
Man wake up and be sober, let not your loyalty run wild,
A man is not a role model for the millions he makes,
By walking red carpets, groomed in threads up to date,
But, a man of character who stays away from drugs,
No alchohol abuser laying around with the bugs.

The girl who stars tv realities,
acting stupidly,as if stung by a bee,
Exhibiting all for everone to see, 
She's clearly a promiscuous little thing,
Disgusting with lewdness and casual flings,
Is this the role model you want for your child?
Take control and teach the kids of life's side that's wild.

Let not these "role models", do your job for you,
You'll regret it many times my friend, it's true,
Look at the best teacher in the school,
They are true professionals and are so cool,
Use these as role models for a child,
For at the age of adolosence their emotions run wild.

Look at the nurse, that offers great services,
A community leader not fond of large purses,
One that give services of sacrifice,
And offers himself, his means and his life,
The heroes that are firemen,
Soldiers and police who protected us when,
Dangers and disasters come our ways,
Making big sacrifices night and day.

They are the true role models I put to your attention,
And many more examples that are so broad to mention,
Men of moral authority,
farmers and those that build with productivity,
Society should take a second look,
People wake up and rewrite the book,
Define role models in a positive way,
Continue with the present concept and
a generation will pay.

Let not Hollywood define whats good,
Wake up from the sleepy mood,
Pictures are powerful ways to teach a child,
TV and Big screen images are running wild,
Defining and teaching a child whats good,
But mostly exhibiting the unwholesome and rude.
