    Poem Commentary

Its  always a surprise, what i thought i would never remember again. I lost most of my work in a fire

    waiting for you

I sit and wait and watch the lonely hours pass away,
Waiting for you, Oh waiting for you to return.
The night you left me hear alone my hopes and dreams turned to stone from waiting for you oh waiting for you to return

Your kiss will fade your touch will die and then my love tears will subside from waiting for you oh waiting for you to return As time goes bye and years will end I swear my broken heart will mend . from waiting for you I'v waiting for you to return.

A youth's imagery can be so powerful at times....I hope the one you waited on returned with a bouquet of long-stemmed roses...if not, here's a yellow daisy......................................g

As i read this I hope that your heart will mend soon. Life is too short to hold onto hurt so long. Good short write!

A great little sing -song my dear, Love the rhyme and meter though the subject is way to familiar. I've had my share of tears and lonely nights. I hope yours are behind you now.Well done...

Wow, keep it up. Sorry for your loss. It would be hard to forget a work like this. Another strong write, truth at the end of a relationship. Well done. Thanks.

I am sure that in part or in whole I will remember the some of the words that I wrote in those younger years thank you
