Angels Song

Angels Song

Barron trees black as fire
tourtured souls amid the mire

Rivers flowing red with blood
seek salvation from above

Where angels sing their songs subline
soul's rejoicing love devine

Seeking God and thee shall find
a place in heaven for all of time

Love it! The choice of words and the message it sends are both intriguing. Thank you for writing such a lovely poem

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
