Deaths Array

Deaths Array

Silent echos ill intent,

Icy fingers deaths descent,

Restless spirts in the night,

Spreading wings of angels flight,

Shadows cast their darkness,

Atop a shallow grave,

There in its dampened hollow,

A lifeless vessel lay,

Its maggot laden flesh,

In bittersweet decay,

Inhail the musty stench,

Of deaths haunting arary,

For soon these shadows cast,

Of vessels flesh and bone,

Turn to dust an ash,

On the path that leads us home,

And hell cries out a vengence,

For death denies it fear,

Await thee not alonger,

Least time would hold thee here.

This is a fantastic Write!!! Love it! I think in the middle you wanted to say array not "arary". Unless this is an old time spelling. I think I am a fan of yours. :)

thank you, this was written about Carl Madsen a friend who was murdered in riverside ca. mid 80's, a good man.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
