Are Our Children Really Accident Prone?

There are some points in a child's life when the growth cells multiply excessively.
One of these times, is the rapid division and multiplication of the embryo from the single union of egg and sperm. The mother then is usually always hungry!

Another growth spurt is seen from birth to one year, and the child's appetite can be described as FEROCIOUS!

At age nine, the child growth increases again, and can eat you along in the process! He or she does not even realize that the food is "gone".

When parents tend to forget about these episodes, there comes the other growth spurt from age 13 to age 21! Everything in the refrigerator is almost always gone! The child, boy or girl, never seems to be satisfied!  They become hungry, especially at night! "I only took a little" is almost always the excuse. "You only blame me all of the time"!

Parents, please be aware, that your child can be prone to accidents during each growth spurt. Besides this, everything seems to be either in their way and are knocked over, or are accidentally spilled!

Dear parent, these are the clumsy periods! They are only temporary. Their coordination and balance are off-set, due to the gradual lengthening of the long bones.

Please be patient. They will one day become adults who do not SPILL THINGS OFTEN; TOPPLE OVER ITEMS; HAVE GLASSES, PLATES OR DISHES DROPPED OUT OF THEIR HANDS BECAUSE OF CLUMSY FINGERS; CRY EVEN BEFORE BEING ACCUSED OUT OF FRUSTRATION; because you see, they themselves, do not understand.

So parents, please purchase lots of healthy foods, and give your child permission to eat without feeling guilty, and have to "steal" food and "hide" it in their rooms to avoid being embarrassed for having a large appetite!
