    Behind the Void

    I'm built on inside
    of settled scores and bribes
    I carry a widows pain
in share to a loss of change
No matter how nasty the truth, I'm not convinced
I've annihilated what's important at others expense
To sort out the equality of precision,
In spite of every wrong decision,
I don't undertake in waiting for acceptance
I won't fulfill a part in being another contestant
It's frustrating how I can't move passed my past
Nights bear with insomnia while the days become vast
Without retreat, I sell myself short
By all means I've managed to walk my own course
I set myself up to one reality
I will always have a survivors mentality

Wow. This is good, Uh, this is the first one I've had the chance to read of yours but... You're amazingly talented keep it up. from your profile it sounds like we'd have a lot in common, You seem true to who you are. I've always made the mistake of being there for everyone but me.... Much admiration... Hope to read more soon. all the best -Marion-

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
