Intruder for a Tale
Dim the lightsTogether we can watch the show
of mutated creatures and dead daisy's to mow
Cross porcelain dolls
Together we can be safe
From back here the curtains look miles away
Moths in my lunchbox
Together we can share
You gave wings to my heart now I have more to spare
Harps shed tears
Together we can listen to this solo
as the audience squirms, hollering marco, polo
Trim your eyes
Together we can dam the waterfalls of nudity
My clothes trickle off, pay attention, you're losing me
Unburden your eyes
All Together they're taking me forward
while you wait for a knight to draw his sword
Red lights fall like fire
We can't escape this theater together
I'm being stared at like I'm forecasting the weather
Petroleum waxed floor
Alone, gaged in front of a brawl
and appear to the viewers one size too small
Chamber of solitude
How did we get so far back
I mustn't rest where stones need to be stacked
Rage in sight
This is just another laugh
I'll fake a smile and pray the lion slaughters the calf
I find myself performing in the play
Galaxy's from you, singing to the milky way
And without further ado, I am sold to display
Only a vague memory of you lives light years away
