Why Would I?
Storm, storm into the night, what a place to look for the light!
I look, I listen, but do not see; you see it makes no sense to me.
To go into the night to find the light? Except maybe in a dream,
Could that be what they mean?
A scheme of things which I cannot believe about them or me.
Here we go again, go real high, see why it looks so great from the sky.
With another sigh I can only wonder why the night for light?
What I do I do 'cause I can, as a man, I get to choose, win or lose.
So why do I ask them about me or am I just too blind to see?
Such as we are, may have fallen from a bar for me to see and then to Wonder,
How can that be? Light from night? A pretty sight but somehow, just Not right.
To trust them over me, I can only wonder, would it be such a blunder?
You are fine, not a product of some other's mind.
Run, run by the sun and choose your choices wisely,
Cause when they see, should they agree, just ain't gonna find enough Light in the night, right?
