COSMIC FLIGHT

To know without knowing,

Access streams of consciousness,

Yet fail to see what they are showing,

Perhaps we regress,

Or simply lack the ability

To uncover what we suppress,

And set ourselves free

To explore abilities we possess.

All that has happened

Is yet to occur,

Especially such that do impend,

Simply preparing to recur.

Feelings, thoughts, perhaps events,

Oftentimes do they portend.

To comprehend universal intents

Just means not if but when.

Imagine the possibilities then,

Both of recognizing and accepting

And taking action based on an omen,

With all the benefit afforded by preplanning.

Beyond anticipating events

To actually influencing the score,

Harness universal currents;

Spread wings and finally soar.

Ah yes these verses are indeed resolute and ambitious and while they sound their warnings anew; I say this poet has visited this realm before, over and over and over again. My wish is that in this realm he makes it; and liberates the rest of us captive sheep. They say we reep what we sow.......

It is a delight to see that each of your poems possesses such an intense spiritual quality, without any mention of 'God'. This is to be respected in a very high esteem.

Thank you so much. I feel gratified that you have correctly perceived what I intended to convey. That is the objective of all writers, and in this instance I have achieved it. I sincerely appreciate your feedback.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
