    Falling to pieces

    Falling to pieces
    your left broken and scarred
    she walked away
you lie limp in a car

    I'm still here faithfully
    but I'm also surprised
    to see the beaten figure
    the pain in your eyes

my heart goes out to you
    each and everyday
    I wake up beside you
    and silently pray

    Pray for your health
    pray your heart mends
    but I already know
    you'll never be whole again

Even now, looking back on the past
    my heartbeat still quickens
my eyes still fill with tears
still not sure it was best
    that you stayed here

Back and forth i sway with the wind, resolution slips away again. Right through my fingers and into my heart, where its outta reach and its in the dark.... somtimes i think im blind, or maybe im paralyzed..... (google it)

This is a beautiful poem. The feeling is there. The love a caring also shows.

A very deep, fairly sad poem. Beautifully written though. Your care was expressed brilliantly. Good job.

    thanks

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
