    idk wut to call it
    Lost for days
    in a clooudy white haze

    you smile at me
    an' normally I wouldn't care
    but for some reason I feel
    something there

    Longing to share
    something that will never be

    You slide your hand in mine
    why can't we just let it be

    loving the past
    wish it would have last

    You say you like me
    I smile back with glee
    pretending this is the
    first time you've ever said this to me

    Lost in the moment
    I gladly take your side

    You and I both know
    this won't workout
    as planned, but for mow
    no harm can come from
    just holdong hands

    I know this scenario all too well. It's seldom spoken about because it never really turns into anything. Relationships come in many forms. Some need not take it to the next level. Some happen just to remind us we are not alone. This one inspired a well written poem. Nice job.
