For Those Who Are Gone
For one more hug,
I'd do anything asked.
I need you now,
more than ever before.
You'd help me understand,
all the choices I'm faced with.
But I can't talk to you,
you're gone and I'm alone.
I wonder if you're proud of me,
what you'd say about my life.
I never said "Goodbye,"
I didn't think I'd need to.
How wrong I was,
and I regret it now.
I miss you everyday,
and I love you.
