Drowning
The fog rolled in,
the rain poured down.
I became so blind,
I didn't feel a thing.
The world slowly faded away,
it was just me again.
Drowning in my pain,
without hope of rescue.
You came for me then,
and pulled me out.
Back into the merciless world,
back where my flaws show.
Just let me go now,
back into the dark.
Where it doesn't hurt,
just to breathe in.
I feel nothing there,
I like it that way.
Drowning alone is better,
than being crushed together.
