    Poem Commentary

I wrote this poem because at the time I was feeling a little down and I know that I'm not the only person who feels this way I just hope that you ( the reader ) enjoys reading my poems. I will try my best to keep you posted with new poems. Please tell me what you think. I was sitting in my room and got this idea so I wrote it. I write poems all the time. So enjoy them.

    For What He Said

    The words he said.
    For the truth came out.
It's better just to be friends for now.
He said were going to fast,
    just to slow down.
It's sad to be told that ' I LOVE YOU' then the next
thing you know it's friends instead of lovers.
    FOR WHAT HE SAID!

    My eyes filled with tears.
    My heart crumbled,
    my soul crushed,
    my love disappeared.
And my mind filling up with thoughts.
Thoughts of hate, love, and hurt.
Most of all I couldn't stop thinking of what he said, how he said it.
No more  'I LOVE YOU' or 'TAKE CARE' just BYE.
    FOR WHAT HE SAID.
I feel the need to just break down into tears and just fight off all the thoughts and dreams of him.
    But I still love him.
Will he ever take me back?, or say I love you again??
As I hear these I think
    FOR WHAT HE SAID.
He told me this was true love,
     we'll be together forever.
But true love only comes once.
And as I know it wasn't love just a crush and they come and go.
    But I still love him.
No matter what there will be something in my heart left for him.
    FOR WHAT HE SAID.
    I hope he's sorry
    FOR WHAT HE SAID.!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
