    huh!!

     romance? take it or leave it I can,
    it feels good while it tears your heart to bits
    then it's gone, drowned in bills and work and nappies

    too busy the working man,
    to be romantic in more than fits
    and starts, too prosaic our lives, so it dies

    so I can take it or leave it
    it's too ephemeral for me
    but, the odd romantic gesture?
    well, just you wait and see.
