Trapped in a cage

Nowhere to go

Can’t run

Can’t hide

Can’t even walk away

Walls of darkness

Surround you 

You take it in

And shudder in despair

Then you realize 

Who built the place

Who put you in it

Who locked it up

And who threw the key away

Grab it and go
