In a Moment
I see your face,Smiling back at me.
I see your eyes,
Fill with joy.
My heart cries out,
Half longing half fear,
For this feeling is new to me,
And it's one I hold dear.
A moment before,
My heart was calm.
Now it races,
Pounding like a drum.
In a moment I realize,
How fast things change.
In a moment I realize,
Things will never be the same.
When we're apart,
It's like an arrow through my heart.
When I am with you,
The world seems to change.
No longer do I see,
Through my eyes alone;
But I now see with my heart,
And love overflows.
