    • I did not win the contest. But I am still in high hopes and entering a review board. :) Wish me luck!

    In Pain.

    With every ragged breath,

    A new vertebrae is ruptured.

    Everything that held strength,

    Is losing its structure.

    My insides acidic and rancid,

    My throat burning,

    Making me lucid.

    Others discerning.

    –The feeling of PAIN.

This was a good one. My only wish is that you privileged us with a longer work.

I've never had the request before, I can add longer poems if you would like.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
