Life is good
Life is good
I count my blessings every day
Life is good, life is good I say
My kids? There’re doing great
The grandkids, good, all eight
My favorite team, again they lost
My favorite coach, oh he got tossed
Bad day, could say, if I would
Life is good I say, life is good
My truck, leak, the water pump
Awful day, just a bump
Could complain but I won’t
Great day if I don’t.
Dog dies, at thirteen
Kids get home, ugly scene
Life is good I say, life is great
Dog could have died at eight
Get home, burn dinner
Today became a total winner
Hungry, but life is swell
Ain’t Heaven, Ain’t Hell
Life is good, I’ll tell you why
My kids don’t cheat, steal, or lie
All successful they’re doing great
Walking the path narrow and straight
Life is good, here’s why I say
My Grandkids health, all okay
Life is good with kids like mine
Life is good, life is fine
