The Stallion
The stallion
As majestic as a mountain
His tough imposing stature
Yet softer than a whisper
Spirit longing for adventure
Free as natures wind
His great-unbridled soul
His heart a champion pure
Growing strong from a foal
His muscular physique
Is like an oceans wave
Protecting family members
Always-fearless gallant brave
Gate elegant as a dancer
He almost seems to glide
Running floating like a cloud
There is power in his stride
Why do we wish to tame
This spirit wild and free
And harness his great power
To work for you and me
Best never to be saddled
A bridle never to restrain
His spirit never broken
Or be guided by a rein
Can we ride together?
And keep our spirits free
Because this precious stallion
Is like you and I could be
