Life, Moving On
You can steer all you want, But you can’t control,
What jumps out in front of you, The tricky part, is to see it coming
Not always easy to do, Especially while speeding,
In the blinding darkness, Of the never ending night
When you panic, you need to fight the erg to just swerve
Sometimes its best to slow down
And keep what you care about, out of the ditch
When your life crumbles apart,
You learn a lot about yourself, as you rebuild
I know that it helps me, to see, life, moving on
But, why does it hurt me, I like to see, life, moving on
Someday, I will, find the strength too
The never ending night, Can take everything you care about,
In an instant, Accidents happen, So be careful how you steer
The road ahead of you is always changing
And accidents will happen
Why am I waiting for company, that’s not coming
I guess, for the same reason, I wait for a phone call,
That will never come, When, can I, live again
I don’t want to forget, but I’m so tired of remembering
I just want to move on with my memories
Not, just lay back and try to forget them
Easy to say, not so easy to do, I will never, forget you
I thought I loved you, but you filled me so full of lies
I’m starting to forget the truth, What happens when the truth,
Is a lie, We spend most of our lives, in an area of grey,
In between the truth, and our own lies
When your life crumbles apart,
You learn a lot about yourself, as you rebuild
I know that it helps me, to see, life, moving on
But, why does it hurt me, I like to see, life, moving on
Someday, I will, find the strength too
