Stuck
My thoughts are all over the placeWanting to move on
But stuck in the past
Remembering what was
While hoping for what will be
Looking for a light at the end of a tunnel
That's full of darkness
Praying an angel will come and rescue me
Stuck
My thoughts are all over the placePoetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
