LIFE

Dear Lord,I know it is very late,
But I am trying hard to comtemplate,
And I am really starting to doubt,
What my life is supposed to be about?


I only wanted to be a wife and mom,
But something hit me like a bomb,
I thought you wanted me to help others,
To feed and guide my sisters and brothers.


But today Lord, I feel I have failed you bad!
For my kids I tried to be both mom and dad,
Despite my efforts,have I failed my kids and you?
So tell me Lord,do I quit,or what should I do?

How can I possibly help you or anyone?
Should I just give up and say I am done?
Have I ever made you proud with anything I did?
I feel so sad that I failed to do as you bid!


This life for me is just one big whirl,
Do you look down and say:great job, my girl?
I wish I could look at my life and sing,
But instead I just feel I failed everything!

Please God, tell me that my life is not all bad,
Let me know that you don't look at me and feel sad!
Lord, please let me know what my life is worth,
Will I ever do or be anything good on this earth?


To fulfill the jobs you have given to me,
Give me strength and not weakness you see!
For I feel weak, where I need to be strong,
And I need to do right,and not everything wrong!


I really do feel like giving up today,
But with this prayer,I hope to find my way!
Father in heaven,give me strenth every day,
To do your will and help others I pray!
