    Life's meaning

    The meaning of life,
    the meaning we seek,
    the endeavor, the fight,
In what moment shall we cease?

    Life is but a vapor,
    life is but a smoke,
    some will be honored,
    while others not so,

    You say you're living good
    while living in vanity,
    miss the meaning of life,
    miss the meaning of humanity,

    Whether we are poor
    or have great wealth
    whether we are ill
    or have great health

There is one thing coming and common to man:
    death and the judgment,
let us prepare while we can.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
