Lost Everything

"Everything's alright" she says to herself,
"Everything's gonna be just fine" shes says to her friends,
But no one knows what has happened to her,
No one knows what she is struggling for,
Or what she goes through every single day,
She never knows if she is going to be happy or not,
She tries to get through the worst by herself,
But it doesn't work out how she plans it to,
First it was just as simple as tears,
Then it went to feeling nothing at all,
So she started cutting to help her feel,
Then she was being watched all the time,
Now she sees that everything's still falling apart,
She sees that things aren't as they used to be,
She hurts more inside and out everyday,
Physical and emotional pain rush through her veins,
Into her bloodstream as if she were born with a disease,
That could never be cured all the way,
She hurts more now than ever inside,
She doesn't know what to think anymore,
Because she feels as if she has lost everything.
