Lullaby Song

Poem Commentary

The angel is feeling bad. And the parallel cat, a strange creature from parallel world sings a lullaby for her.

Lullaby Song

Sleep little angel,

May the parallel cat guard your dreams

He’s invisible more than it seems

He’s got many stories to tell

Get well, little angel, get well

Sleep little angel,

Let him purr out his voidness and say

“I will take all your anguish away,

I’d like to be caged in your cell”

Get well, little angel, get well

Smile little angel,

Pows are soft and he’s holding you tight

Night is permanent road  to the light

So join him in whispering spell:

Get well, little angel, get well

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
