Medulla
MEDULLAYour eyes swing back and forth
Like droplets of rain, heady on my dashboard
On a crimson evening, despair wrought with glory
Your tender kisses gone, replaced by the subtle chapping on your lips
As the night fades into darkness and the blindness creeps over the edge
Of my labyrinth to save me from your evil hell, your evil gaze
Everything about you – evil
I fell in love with the anti-Christ, a saint of a man
Who adores me and bestows upon me
Gifts of satin chic and velvet lust, love bubbling up under the hot water
Of an incandescent light, a misty rain, and all throughout the course
Of your meal, you stare, you glare at your meal like it was a living human
Kissing it with force, breathing life into it while sucking it's blood with your finger-tips
Only your finger-tips remain in my dream, giggling up and down
Resounding in my head, “oh so lovely to see you, my darling,”
“i know” now why do I not explain my feelings anymore
I have no idea why, but the only reason that matters
Is your eyes, swinging back and forth, telling me you love me
Telling me you'll never leave me
Telling me I'm too far away
Telling me it's over
Telling me I'm just too far gone for the love of any other
As your eyes swing purple to my breasts
And black to my heart
